BSS Technician

Reporting to the Senior
Regional Network Maintenance Manager - Rift, Western the holder of the
position will maintain the BSS network, all transmission equipment and
the related power supply, perform system upgrades and implement proposed
solutions to solve BSS related quality issues.
Key Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure Network elements fault clearance.
- Perform proper preventive maintenance of all network elements and document results for owned sites on a monthly basis.
- Ensure proper site acceptance.
- Ensure proper contractors control.
- Proper works Orders execution.
- Proper use of defined processes and procedures in daily work.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Telecommunications Engineering or equivalent from a reputable institution;
- 1 year telecommunications experience in GSM related field;
- Must be able to work without supervision and meet tight deadlines/schedules;
- Analytical , problem solving skills;
- Proactive & self-motivated;
- 1 year valid Driving License.
Note: This position is located in the Western Region (Western, Nyanza and Rift-valley).
Successful candidates should be ready to relocate.
