Experienced 2D/3D Animation Designer Wanted

INCKENYA is looking to for experienced 2D and 3D animators, with experience in comic Work, professional grade 3D Animation, 2D Productions, Video and 2D Advertisements.

Qualifications:
  • At least a certificate in 3D Animation and Design (Diploma will be of added advantage).
  • Designers with natural talent and at least 4 years working experience but no training in design may also apply but will be required to demonstrate outstanding quality of work.
  • Experience in at least one of these: Autodesk 3D, Autodesk-Maya, Autodesk -3Ds Max, Autodesk- Soft Image Houdini, Light Wave, Modo, Blender, sketchup, Solidworks, AutoCad or any other world 3D modelling software is a must. Experience in Flipbook, DrawPlus, Animation workshop or at least one world recognized 2D software is a must.
  • Applicants must have a solid understanding of the elements of a story; plot, character/world development.
  • Applicants must demonstrate discipline and reliability and be able to meet established deadlines and produce high quality work each time.  To demonstrate this, applicant should provide references from three clients who can attest to their discipline and reliability while on a project.
  • Applicants must demonstrate teamwork and their ability to work with a team on a big project. Applicants should provide references from two team members with whom they have worked on a project.

We are looking to develop an eye catching logo that  conveys the concepts of   (financial strengnth and speed of disbursement)
The logo should also be simple and easy to brand on all materials including t shirts. Integrating the logo to the text or vise versa is acceptable as long as the logo still stands well on its own.

Logo styles if interest to us are BP, Shell, WWF, safaricom

The company colors are red and black., though we would be ok toying with blue & grey as well

Design of Kakamega County Flag, Coat of Arms, Slogan and Public Seal

In line with the Constitution of Kenya 2010 and the County Government Act No 17 of 2012, section (4) we wish to invite the public to participate in the design of county government of Kakamega Flag, Court of Arms and slogan and Public Seal.
 
To Note: The above stated county symbols are not to be the same as or bear a likeliness or similarity to the national symbols
  • The designs should not infringe on any copyright and hence, the designers will indemnify the County Government of Kakamega against any such infringement
  • The winning designs will win cash prizes, courtesy of County Government of Kakamega
  • The County Government of Kakamega performs functions as provided for in schedule 46 of the constitution of Kenya.
Eligibility
 
Entrants must be Kenyan Citizens. Residents of Kakamega County including students are encouraged to participate. 
However, if a student wins the cash prizes, the same will be paid through the guardian or school administration.
 
Guidelines
 
(i) Submission of the designs must be in both hard and soft copies
 
(ii) Entrants must not submit more than one entry in each category
 
(iii) There is no participation fee
 
(iv) Once a winner has been selected and awarded, the County Government of Kakamega shall retain copyright and intellectual property rights.
 
Prizes
 
The winners of each category will be announced through the press; and will be awarded as follows:
 
(a) County Government of Kakamega Coat of Arms and slogan: winner cash prize of Kshs. 100,000, first runner up Kshs. 50,000 and second runner up Kshs. 25,000
 
(b) County Government of Kakamega flag: winner cash prize of Kshs. 100,000, first runner up Kshs. 50,000 and second runner up Kshs. 25,000

Our client is in need of a Project Manager- Interior Design who will coordinate and oversee the project Life Cycle of the group companies projects from inception through Completion. 
They will coordinate the work of the project and design teams, under the direction of a senior staff member for confirmation of issues related to the success of the total project to include; Communication, Timeframe Management, Budget Management and Expectation Management.

The successful candidate will:
  • Be able to take website layouts and make them functional and easy to use.
  • Create original websites & portals.
  • Perform maintenance and updates to existing websites.
  • Provide training on maintenance/update procedures to clients.
  • Be able to manage multiple websites.
  • Have graphic design and programming skills.
  • Be up-to-date on current technology, mobile internet and new media.
  • Able to explain complex work in a clear and simple manner.
  • Able to code for Cross-Browser Functionality solutions.
  • Be time conscious and work efficiently in a team to meet deadlines.
Qualification and Experience
  • 3 years experience in web and digital media.
  • Extensive knowledge of Joomla.
  • Excellent knowledge of Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Illustrator)
  • Expert knowledge of HTML, CSS, MySQL, phpMyAdmin
  • Good knowledge of FTP applications.

Job Purpose: To perform editing and desktop publishing services for the production of materials to be used across Bridge International Academies. 
Responsibilities (Functions and duties)
 
1. Organizing all data required to create custom print materials
 
2. Use appropriate data merge tools to create complex custom print materials
 
3. Effectively coordinate versioning of print ready documents to ensure accurate print batches
 
4. Develop advanced templates to allow for further customization of print materials
 
5. Conform to established documentation guidelines, procedures, and templates
 
The work above is for hundreds of documents which have many different versions based on the academy cohort and most recent design revisions. 
DO NOT APPLY if you are not detailed oriented and have a natural ability to organize and track digital documents. Role Reports:
 
Academy materials including but not limited to: Academy Manager Tools, Teacher Tools and Marketing Posters and Marketing Fliers 
Experience:
  • Minimum 2 years prior experience in supporting the publication of large, complex collaborative documents in time constrained environment.
  • Preferably in a dynamic production environment in publishing
Qualifications: 
Academic:
  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in business and/or 4 years of relevant direct experience in lieu of degree
Specialist knowledge required:
  • Must have advanced working knowledge and experience in Adobe In Design
  • Preferably have advanced skills using Adobe Design Suite of Products.
  • Strong skills in Excel and Word

Requirements:
  • A mature and ethical individual with high level of demonstrated commitment  – “GBC hires character and trains skills”
  • Minimum age of 28 years
  • Have a Degree/Diploma in Information Technology or Computer Science.
  • At least two (2) years relevant work experience in graphics and animation.
  • Practical experience with software such as; Adobe After Effects, 3D Studio Max, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Director, Adobe Flash, Dream Weaver, Adobe Premiere, motion editing software and PSD layouts – General proficiency in the Adobe CS and Autodesk Suite
  • Experience with the following scripting languages; Java Script, jQuery and PHP.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Build capacity among subject matter experts in multimedia and Graphic design.
  • Create animations, graphics and other multimedia elements.
  • Ability to integrate great graphics and animations in websites and web based systems
  • Develop design concepts for websites and systems with great visual effects
  • Record and Edit Video and Sound.
  • Integrate graphics, sound, text, animation, still images and digital video into one package
  • Maintain processes and high quality standards of work and ensure that all projects are finished on time
  • Initiate innovative projects in Multimedia, Graphic design and Software development.
  • Design develop, and produce art work for a wide variety of marketing materials and websites
  • Develop, design, and produce displays for meetings, presentations, trade shows, and other events
  • Create illustrations and logos
  • Monitor all stages of production to complete projects (design the work and incorporate others’ ideas)
  • Coordinate all aspects of producing marketing materials
  • Assist in the planning and development of advertising, promotional campaigns & strategies
  • Design and edit newsletters for internal and external use
  • Use computerized graphic software to produce final product
  • Work in conjunction with others to complete projects.

We are a local film production, communication & entertainment company.  We specialize in providing audio-visual communication solutions to businesses to help them communicate messages and achieve business goals.

We are looking for a video producer who is a creative visionary, loves to tell stories through video and has a great eye for design.  
You love seeing your work out there and have a genuine passion for, and mastery of, the visual, creative and technical disciplines involved in making great video. 
The job requires a minimum of 3-4 years experience writing, producing, directing, and editing video programs at a professional level.  
The position requires a self-motivated and efficient individual to manage projects from start to finish including concept, design, script, edit, and delivery across multiple formats

Your Skills
  • You have a thorough understanding and proven competency of the film-making process from pre-production thru post-production.
  • You have strong visual storytelling and be able to write treatments and scripts for production.
  • You are able to originate and pitch creative video concepts to clients for funding.
  • You are creative to the core, but organized and resourceful too.
  • You have hands-on editing experience with Final Cut Pro, After Effects, Adobe Photoshop
  • You are familiar with Adobe Creative Suite. Familiarity with 2-D and 3-D animation is preferred.
  • You can put together a video shoot anywhere, anytime and has a good contact base of production talent.
  • You are familiar with new video technologies and their application to corporate video production. 
  • You demonstrate a high level of commitment and enthusiasm and have excellent oral and written communications skills.
  • You live and breathe social media
  • You can multi-task with the best of them and manage your own time instinctively
Your Responsibilities:
  • Will oversee each video project from conception to completion and organize shooting schedules.
  • Controlling the production budget and allocating resources accordingly to ensure timely delivery of projects within expected quality standards
  • Will be involved in the marketing and sourcing for new business/ funding.
  • Will originate and pitch creative TV/ Film video concepts for funding.
  • Will hire key production staff and a crew to shoot films or videos;
  • Building and developing a network of key business contacts
  • Pulling together all the strands of creative and technical talent involved in a  project to create a team
A gross salary of Kshs 30,000 and bonuses will be offered based on performance.
