Job Summary

The candidate will be placed in Nairobi.

She/he will be reporting to the Travel Manager.

Requirement:

At least 4 years experience as a travel consultant in a busy environment.
 
Must have comprehensive industry knowledge and be proficient on Amadeus and/or Galileo
 

Strong interpersonal presence, able to work both independently and as a team.
 
Must have excellent communication skills and be customer service oriented.
 
Skilled in computer operation and time management
 
Availability should be immediate or in one month’s time.
Professional Qualification
  • KCSE- C and above.
  • Degree in Tourism/Travel Management or
  • Diploma in IATA/UFTAA consultant level (Air Travel   Operations) and
  • Diploma in Foundation Level (Air Travel Operations)

Credit Control Officer
 

Main purpose: Ensuring sufficient working capital to enhance organization efficiency while maintaining good customer relationship.

Main Responsibilities
  • Maintaining and updating client contacts
  • Assisting in reviewing the company’s credit control procedures, recommended development and implement enhancement where required.
  • Ensure proper and timely reconciliations of statement with respective clients.
  • Facilitate preparation of accurate monthly statement of debtors’ account balances
  • Arranging and holding meeting with clients for resolution of all the outstanding matters from time to time
  • Liaising with marketing executive to enhance debt collection with a predetermined target
  • Preparation of weekly, monthly and quarterly credit control report to management.
  • Any other duties as may be assigned by management from time to time
Qualifications, Knowledge, Experience
  • Bachelors degree in accounting, finance or equivalent
  • Be Certified Public Accountant part 2
  • At least three (3) years experience in a similar or equivalent position
  • Credit control experience with promotional or advertisement company will be a definite advantage.

Job Description
 
Outstanding prospecting, client networking, cold-calling, presentation, project management & customer service skills necessary. 
Ideal candidates should have a practical working knowledge of electronic security systems, (CCTV and Access Control).
 
Responsibilities
  • Prospecting on sales opportunities for CCTV, Access Control and related electronic security solutions.
  • Conducting presentations and demonstrations on the solutions.
  • Carrying out site surveys on prospects and make recommendations for ideal solutions.
  • Prepare proposals and quotations.
  • Making timely follow-up on sales leads and closures.
  • Supervision of installation works.
  • Planning and implementing sales strategies.
  • Achieve monthly sales targets.
  • Provide on-the-job training to our customers.
Skills Required
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of Ethernet/TCP/IP Networking and IP-based security systems – e.g. IP-based CCTV systems, IP-based alarm and access-control systems.
  • Excellent written, personal and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to persuade and influence others.
  • Excellent customer service and strong problem solving skills.
  • An awareness of Project Management methodology.
Candidates Requirements
  • Minimum Diploma in Networking/Diploma in Electronics & Computing Systems.
  • CISCO Certified
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in sales of security/CCTV system.
  • Good knowledge of computer, networking and technology related services.

Role Purpose: 
 
He/ She will be reporting to the Head of Sales and Communication and will manage existing data customer accounts and have some responsibility to find new accounts as well. 
However, the main purpose of the role is for Inside Sales & Account Development in order to provide the best sales support and management to our data customers. 
He/ She will be responsible for providing management and sales force with all communications materials and information necessary to understand and to answer customers’ needs.
 
Key Duties and Responsibilities.
 
Operational (incl. Planning):
  • Managing and growing revenues for all high bandwidth data services in the carrier services department.
  • Developing and implementing actions to create additional opportunities to cross-sell and up-sell accounts to increase overall total customers spend with the company. Create account plans and strategies to win new business from both new as well as existing customers.
  • Developing and managing customer relationships for assigned accounts in order to gain strategic positioning with decision makers in order to retain existing revenue and attain additional business.
  • Delivering responsive, proactive, and professional correspondences related to any account functionality including billing, service activation, or escalation of technical support.
  • Developing sales in the designated target market(s) by identifying new sales opportunities by contacting prospective customers by premise visits, networking, lead generation, and customer appointments.
  • Provide concise and professional  presentations on Carrier Services products to customers
  • Insure accurate and timely data sales and communication reports
  • Develop all communication materials for sales force: presentations and sales pitches as required.
  • Build department input for annual strategic marketing plan and operational marketing plan.
Academic/ Professional Qualifications
  • Degree in Business/Marketing, or other relevant field (or equivalent).
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in sales environment
  • Understanding of Telecom sector as well as associated strategies and business challenges.
  • Identification and development of key partners and vendor relationships to maximize Telkom Carrier Services’ ability to provide best solutions to the customer.
Key Competencies:
  • Engage and partner with customers
  • Recognize and assess customer’s key business drivers and challenges
  • Develop level of credibility that positions Telkom Carrier Services to collaborate on construction of customer business cases
  • Ability to follow on customer contract negotiation and implementation
  • Produce quality written materials: Proposals, Business Cases, Organizational Plans, presentations etc.
  • Produce quality reports to the customers and to the management
