Reporting to the Project & Group Projects Manager, the Reports Specialist works as part of the Projects Team based in Kenya, and is primarily tasked with producing and enhancing the company’s implementation of reporting solutions.

Reporting to the Project & Group Projects Manager, the Reports Specialist works as part of the Projects Team based in Kenya, and is primarily tasked with producing and enhancing the company’s implementation of reporting solutions.
Main purpose of job
The Reports Specialist is responsible for creating and amending crystal reports and print templates, as well as developing and amending the underlying SQL code.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and amend Crystal Reports and other types of printed output
- Design, develop and maintain MSSQL database objects such as tables, views, stored procedures, functions, triggers, indexes, constraints, etc.
- Analyze data to identify root-cause of issues related to ETL processes, and provide troubleshooting expertise in resolving technical issues
Qualifications and Experience:
- Demonstrable experience working with Crystal Reports and forms of printed output
- Excellent skills in SQL programming
- Experience in using T-SQL and Microsoft SQL Server
- Experience with SSIS and SSRS an added advantage
- Effective interpersonal and communications skills
