Broad Function: The Electrical Machine Operator is responsible for manufacture of various sizes in wires and to ensure he operates in a reliable, efficient, safe, and sustainable manner.

Primary Duties / Responsibilities
  • To maintain and attend to all manufacturing equipment including setting up of machines to meet the specific requirements of the manufacturing ticket.
  • Utilize information contained in process files for set up purposes.
  • To liaise closely with the Team leader in all matters pertaining to the efficient operation of the equipment with regard to any aspect that may affect the relevant documentation.
  • To notify the Team leader on any deviation of the written procedures for whatever reason.
  • To support the management in their goal to achieve an efficiency and profitability of the company.
  • To compile and generate any information pertaining to the manufacturing as and when required by the management.
  • To perform any other reasonable tasks that may be required from time to time by the management.
  • To adhere to all company rules, regulations and conditions of work as defined in the incumbent job description.
Person Specifications

Academic Qualifications
  • O’ Level (Minimum C+)
  • A diploma would be an added advantage.
Professional Qualifications
  • Ordinary Certificate in Electrical / Mechanical skills
Experience
  • At least three years working experience in machine operation.
Skills
  • Technical knowledge of production machinery
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet assigned targets.

The Accounts Assistant is responsible for assisting the Accountant in handling the receivables and payables; while ensuring that the reporting timelines set are strictly adhered to.

Responsibilities (Functions and duties):
  • Hyper Accounts Collections
  • Batch Reconciliation
  • Verification of Returns
  • Verification of Returned Invoices
  • Prepare customer statements and do customer reconciliations
  • Monitoring and posting of stock and doing stock checks through spot checks and stock-take
  • Daily scrutiny of stocks invoiced, issued and dispatched
  • Provide effective management accounting data to senior management
  • Produce monthly variance analysis of revenue and expenses and breakdown variances
  • Maintenance and reconciliation of various general ledger accounts
  • Any other duties not necessarily mentioned which are in line with the position of an Assistant Accountant

Chief Legal Officer

Requirements:
 
For appointment to the position of Chief Legal Officer, a person shall:
  • Be a holder of a PhD degree in Law or its equivalent. Applicants who hold a Masters Degree in Law and extensive experience with demonstrable proven excellence and performance record will also be considered.
  • Be a holder CPS (K) or any other equivalent qualification.
  • Be an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya
  • Be a Commissioner of Oaths and Notary Public
  • Have at twelve (12) years’ experience, at least three (3) years of which must be at Deputy Chief Legal Officer level or equivalent in a large organization.
  • Be computer literate
Duties and Responsibilities:
 
The Chief Legal Officer shall:
  • Be the Overall manager of the University’s legal function, including staffing, work assignment, performance evaluation and leave.
  • Provide legal counsel and be the advisor of University Management on all matters pertaining to corruption, economic crimes, intellectual property, technology transfer and sexual harassment in respect of staff and students.
  • Negotiate, draft, review and report to the University Management all agreements and contracts between the University and other parties.
  • Assist in preparing legal or quasi-legal documents for any University department or organ that may have such a need.
  • Interpret general university statutes, terms and conditions of service, collective agreements and any other similar documents that have legal binding on the University.
  • Offer legal advice and support to the University and its affiliates on the acquisition, management and disposal of University property, including intellectual property.
  • Have any other duties as may be assigned by the University Management.
