Client Liaison Manager

Job Title: Client Liaison Manager

Department:

Work Location: Kenya 
 
Purpose of the Job: Maintain ownership of a portfolio of Imperial Health Sciences clients - retention, growth and development within that portfolio. 
 
Essential Duties

Regulatory Compliance
  • Compliance with legal and contractual requirements on client and customer interaction
Quality Assurance
  • Implement and review customer care SOPs and maintain customer care records
  • Internal monthly review
  • Publish monthly report to EXCO per client containing key information

Client commercial and operational interaction
  • Monthly review meetings and ad-hoc meetings as required by the client. 
  • Maintain established client service levels and the generation of activity reports.
Interdepartmental Interaction
  • Orchestrate and lead interdepartmental interactions in support of the client.
Administration
  • Keep the administration related to the client up to date in an exemplary and professional manner.
Knowledge and Skills Required:
  • Bachelor’s degree in, business management preferred
  • Customer care training and experience
  • Communication skills
  • Decision–making, problem-solving, creativity
  • Analytical skills, attention to detail
  • Ability to interact at a high level with clients, senior management and authorities
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Experience in and knowledge of the pharmaceutical Industry.
  • Self-starter who is able to develop relationship and engender transparency
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Strong analytical capacity
  • Experience in supply chain, demand Planning, forecasting and MRP.
  • Be accountable to internal and external stakeholders
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word and Power point programs
  • Valid Driver’s License and own car essential

FMCG Quality Controller

Our client is a leading manufacturer of Grade 1 sifted maize meal (maize flour) with an installed capacity to process 100mt of maize flour per day.

Their factory is located in Nairobi. Reporting to the Director, the Quality Controller will assist in the Quality Assurance function in the company.

Quality Controller Jobs Duties and Responsibilities
  • Plan, manage and control the Quality Assurance function
  • Act as the Q.A Authority on accept/reject decisions for Raw materials / packing / Finished Goods
  • To regularly audit the production and Q.A. operations for compliance with applicable policies and procedures and to co-ordinate and document a corrective action program.
  • Co-ordinate the Co- packers to drive Quality/ manufacturing/ safety Related Programs and MIS data reporting
  • Maintain up to date specifications and procedures
  • To ensure prompt attention of the management where areas of risk in the manufacturing / QA operations/
  • Safety which may have an adverse effect on product quality and/or food safety.
  • Consumer complaint analysis and CAPA generation People Development at co-packer location to achieve company objective
Quality Controller Skills and Experience required
  • Diploma in food science or diploma in analytical chemistry
  • 2-3 years experience in a food manufacturing plant
  • Must be familiar with HACCP principles
  • Good KCPE and KCSE Grades
  • Intelligent and a fast learner
  • Presentable with good communication skills

The ideal candidate will have several years of hands-on experience working with production equipment, as well as knowledge of various types of printing processes, visual design elements and desktop publishing software.

Previous experience working in a management, administrative or supervisory position highly desirable.
 
Job Function: Direct and supervise the operation of printing services; make work assignments for printing personnel and supervise employees to assure efficient work flow and high quality publications; train, schedule and evaluate the performance of assigned print room personnel; consult with manager or administrator for establishing priorities and deadlines.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Performs and supervises others in performing various duties involved in offset press and/or pre-press printing
  • Trains or is responsible for the training of supervised employees
  • Is responsible for the care of machines and work rooms
  • Is responsible for the quality of completed printing projects
  • Orders supplies and maintains inventories for press and/or pre-press areas
  • Designs, lays out, and prints materials as requested.

Knowledge Of:
  • Methods, practices, terminology and procedures used in the production of printed and graphic materials.
  • Operation, use, minor repair and maintenance of printing and related equipment.

  • Financial and statistical record-keeping techniques.
  • Interpersonal skills using tact, patience and courtesy.
  • Oral and written communication skills.
  • Copyright rules and regulations.
Ability To:
  • Plan, organize and supervise the delivery of printing services to administration.
  • Review incoming work, prepare production instructions, estimate production time, establish priority and schedule work.

Qualifications:
  • Degree, Diploma or Equivalent in Printing Technology.

  • Very Good Communication Skills- English and Swahili
  • Aged between 35 – 45 years

Required Training and Skills
