Overall Job Purpose
 
Reporting to the National Sales Manager, the Assistant Sales Managers will be responsible for sales targets for the Central and Coast Regions of Kenya.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
  • Accomplish sales and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
  • Achieving sales targets as set out by the employer
  • Manage sales channels as assigned to him by the employer
  • Generate new leads to build the employers sales pipeline from time to time
  • Manage collection of customer data and information as may be assigned to him by the employer
  • Present accurate activity and financial reports in a timely manner as requested for by the employer
  • Any other task as assigned from time to time by the employer
Requirements
  • Degree/Diploma in Business Courses/Community Development.
  • Must be 27 years old and above.
  • Must be Familiar with the region of Kenya applied for
  • Business acumen skills and negotiations skills.

Senior Analyst Job in Mombasa, Kenya

Senior Analyst – Instrument Laboratory

1.0    Objectives
  • Test food and non-food products and any other items which require elemental/instrumental analysis in accordance standard operating procedures, techniques, national, international and industry standards or clients’ guidelines
  • Train and supervise subordinate personnel and analysts and stress the need  for accuracy and reliability in order to provide quality work from the analysis process
  • Ensure that all activities are carried out in compliance with the laboratory’s QA/QC system and more especially ISO 17025. In addition ensure GLP compliance where applicable
2.0    Specifics tasks
  • Responsible for implementing residue testing through good laboratory practice and according to OECD guidelines
  • Ensure that tests that require GC-MS analysis on various products are carefully planned and
  • Ensure good instrumental techniques for other instruments e.g. LC MS/MS, LC MS, ICP, UV-Visible, AAS, Vicam Fluorometer, Bomb calorimeter etc, are employed at all times
  • Ensure that all tests, reporting and filling of test information are carried out in compliance with the laboratory’s QA/QC system and more especially ISO 17025
3.0    Profile
  • At least a Degree Chemistry or equivalent qualification from recognized institution.
  • 2 years laboratory testing experience preferably in a multi-purpose laboratory.
  • Good knowledge of ISO 17025, ISO 9001, GLP and HSE standards.
  • Working knowledge of laboratory instruments such as the GLC, ICP, AAS, GCMS, LCMS/MS, UV/Visible, XRF, IR and Fluorometer.
  • Have sound knowledge of laboratory work particularly instrumental methods used in trace analysis.

The company is looking for talented, mature, self-starters to fill the Business Development Executive position in its Uganda based operations.

Purpose of the job:

Reporting directly to the Business Unit Manager, the Business Development Executive will be expected to build market position by locating, developing, defining, negotiating, and closing business relationships for the company’s animal feed supplements in the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop new markets for produced animal feeds.
  • Solicit orders from clients and ensure that deliveries are made.
  • Put in place mechanisms to ensure that the set targets are achieved.
  • Locate or propose potential business deals by contacting potential business partners and exploring opportunities.
  • Prepare monthly sales projections for the animal feeds.
  • Provide service support to clients.
  • Review actual sales against projections and investigate variations.
  • Analyze the trends of the sales made on a monthly basis.
  • Screen potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, potential, financial implication and evaluating options in line with company priorities.
Skills and competencies
  • Bachelor’s degree in Animal Nutrition/ Science or Agriculture or its equivalent.
  • Additional qualification in sales and marketing would be an added advantage
  • 4 years of relevant experience is required in selling and marketing of animal feed supplements.
  • Must have a full understanding of the market dynamics of animal food supplements
  • Ability to work independently in carrying out assignments to completion
  • Effective verbal and written communication.
  • Professional personal presentation
  • Customer service orientation skills.
  • Decision making skills is required.
