Company Profile: Our client represents MTU Onsite Power Generation Solutions, MTU Engines and Yokohama Tyres thereby catering to Customer Base which Includes Government Entities such as Kengen, Kenya Navy, Kenya Railways, Rift Valley Railways, and Kenya Airports Authority.

Required no of years of experience:  4-5 years
 
Educational Qualification
  • The basic Diploma / Degree required for the job is in Mechanical engineering from an accredited institution.
  • Higher education in management will be added advantage.

  • Sales to Marine  Engines  Parts direct and through tenders
  • Submission of Pre Qualifications with government / Parastatal/ NGO/ Corporates
  • Be able to understand Technical specifications of tenders.
  • Estimates labor, material, construction, and equipment costs in projects.
  • Inspects completed installations for conformance with design and equipment specifications and safety standards.
  • Observes operation of installation for conformance with operational standards.
  • Able to prepare TCC / LCC of machines/ products
  • He has to do the effective planning of the new equipment required.
  • The person needs to act as consultants to advise their clients on the nature of machine being sold to them and explain servicing /warranty of machine.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Strategy
  • Develop sales strategy for Business Solutions customers and work closely with team leaders to achieve strategy objectives.
  • Monitor and report current market trends, competition, share and developments to country manager and other stakeholder
  • Ensure customer channel migration in accordance with channel strategy, and seek for opportunities for migration of customers to higher segments
