Job Title: Market Analyst
Reports To: Channel Execution Manager
To support Channel activities by collating, maintaining and analyzing a comprehensive set of information tools, reports and records.
Main Responsibilities
  • Develop & maintain the databases, schedules and reports to underpin decisions on Channel activity and resource allocation
  • Update Outlet Census records as directed by the GTM process. Provide analysis and insight on Channels and outlets based on census inputs.
  • Maintain accurate sales records for outlets, channels, brands and sales representatives as dictated by the ongoing and developing needs of the business.
  • Assist Channel Marketing and Channel Execution Management with Trade Audit process. Maintain accurate records of trade audit results by representative, area, team and district.
  • Monitor and Report adequately on key operational performance indicators, share learning.
  • Provide ad hoc information as required from time to time.

  • Involve in solution designing both in functional and technical phases, guide and execute technical team.
  • Responsible for all day-to-day aspects of managing client expectations, goals and objectives.
  • Involve in solution strategy, work closely with Delivery Managers/ Project Managers to develop implementation plan, and keep all the team members informed of project plans for smooth implementation.
3. Oracle Apps Financials: Techno- Functional Consultant (Africa)
 
Applicants should have 4 to 7 years in Oracle Financials with at least 3-4 full life cycle implementations and overall good domain experience; should have experience in micro to macro management both in functional and technical phases, guidance and execution of projects; possess good skills in Analysis,
Designing, Coding and Development and should be strong in PL/SQL.

The successful candidate will report to the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Academic Affairs and will provide administrative support to the university Academic and Administration divisions.
 
Duties and Responsibilities
 
He/She will be responsible for;
  • Overseeing implementation of regulations, policies, guidelines and procedures that govern non-academic matters related to student welfare.
  • Coordination of all matters related to student welfare and advising the Student Welfare Committee and Senate.
  • Sensitization of students on available student support systems such as academic advisory, mentorship, guidance and counseling and health care services among others.
  • Coordination of matters related to student co-curricula activities such as sports, games, drama, music, community outreach programmes, e.t.c.
  • Offering guidance and direction and in enforcing provisions set out in the Mount Kenya University Student Association (MKUSA) constitution
  • Preparation of budgets and work plans relating to student welfare activities and supervise their implementation.
  • Providing the necessary administrative support to students to form and develop professional and social clubs and societies to clubs and societies as well as promote and market the same activities within and outside the University.
  • Formulation, implementation and periodic review of a strategic plan on student welfare.
Qualifications
  • At least a Masters degree.
  • At least 5 years of experience in teaching and/or administration in an institution of Higher Learning.
  • The ideal candidate should be conversant with the running of students affairs in a University or an institution of higher learning.
  • Be of the highest ethical standards, integrity and professionalism.
  • Good inter-personal and communication skills.
  • Team player who can work with minimum supervision.
