National Sales Manager (KShs 80,000 - 120,000 p.m.)

We are recruiting for a National Sales Manager for one of our clients in the FMCG industry.

The National Sales Manager will report directly to the Managing Director.

The purpose of this management job is to formulate and implement functional policies and strategies to achieve agreed sales and profitability targets.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required
  • A Business related degree or a degree.
  • Minimum 5 years experience at a sales management level in an FMCG environment.
  • Those dealing with business development, senior sales staff looking for growth and opportunity to prove themselves highly desired.
  • Those working at small and medium sized FMCG companies desired.
  • People management, communication and presentation skills is key.
  • Computer literacy
Salary range is K'sh 80-120K.

Key Result Areas
  • Formulate and implement sales strategies for assigned product(s)/area to achieve agreed sales and profitability targets.
  • Set and ensure achievement of agreed sales targets for respective areas and sales channels.
  • Formulate departmental budget and ensure that expenditure is maintained within approved budget.
  • Train and develop an appropriate sales force and structure that maximises effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Develop and fine-tune distribution channels and systems to optimise product availability and maximize sales.
  • Ensure superior customer service with particular emphasis on business partners.
  • Gather market information and conduct effective competition analysis and advise on new product introductions.
  • Ensure formulation and implementation of an effective discount structure and that customers are within the agreed trading terms.
  • Adopt and implement new management models like Kaizen to achieve the desired goals.
  • Timely presentation of all required reports and documents.

Tax Accountant - (KShs 30,000)

Our client is a medium sized audit firm serving the small and medium sized businesses in Kenya.

A job vacancy has arisen in the tax consulting department.

Job Title: Tax Accountant

Basic Function: The tax accountant position is accountable for the collection of tax-related information, reporting to taxation authorities in a timely manner, and advising management on the tax impact of various corporate strategies.

Principal Accountabilities:
  • Complete required tax reporting in a timely manner
  • Coordinate audits by various taxation authorities
  • Advise management regarding the tax impact of corporate strategies
  • Coordinate outsourced tax preparation work
Requirements
  • CPA(K) being minimum education and professional level.
  • Have worked in the same position an audit firm set up.
  • Demonstrate initiative.
  • Able to work unsupervised.
  • Ability to deliver on targets.
  • Familiar with Kenyan tax law and an indepth understanding of KRA operations.
The client is willing to offer a stating gross pay of K'sh 30,000.

Assistant Camp Manager - Maasai, Mara

ME TO WE Trips is looking to hire a highly motivated & passionate Assistant Camp Manager in Maasai Mara

Position involves:
  • Checking on tents , supervising pitching , cleaning and breaking of camps.
  • Supervising on all back end activities for smooth running of the camp.
  • Handling of staff information and ensuring high staff morale, organizing staff in-house training and departmental meetings.
  • Ensuring proper working of all camp equipment, daily room checks and camp performance of the daily basis and Keep an up to date record of all inventories by ensuring that the data on the same is properly entered in a data base.
  • Making food orders based on number of guests and supervising all deliveries.
  • Planning transport, procurement & logistics activities.
  • Checking on licenses for all vehicles, generators, and coordinating construction works and maintenance of the same.
Qualifications:
  • Degree / Diploma in Business Management, Hotel Management or Tourism.
  • Must have worked in a Camp for a minimum of 5 years in a remote environment.
  • Good communication skills: interpersonal/oral and written
  • Flexible, a team player and mature.
