Our client, an International BPO firm with Head Offices in Australia, is looking for Customer Service Representatives for their Call Centre in Nairobi.

We are looking for candidates willing to work on weekends on a 7 hour shift pattern beginning Friday night to Sunday night. We are specifically looking for students or candidates with no other job.

Key responsibilities
  • Screening and moderating user submitted content, answering support requests and performing support functions.
  • Moderating and screening written user content on Profiles
  • Moderating and screening user submitted photos
  • Answering Online Help Requests
  • Answering telephone support requests
  • Processing Testimonials (depending on language)
  • Various support tasks
Key Skills and competences 
  • Internet literate
  • A passion for Customer Service
  • Ideal for students ready to work on Friday nights, Saturdays and Sundays
  • Ability to respond promptly to customer inquiries
  • Ability to handle and resolve customer complaints
  • Ability to multitask and take up more workload when required
  • Outstanding language skills (grammatically correct, can express things clearly)
  • Ability to work with multiple tabs and multiple browsers efficiently in a web browser based support system (speed and accuracy are important)

Finance & Operations Advisor Career Opportunity - Nairobi, Kenya


Position: Finance & Operations Advisor

Description:

The Finance & Operations Advisor based in Nairobi, Kenya will serve as part of the senior technical team responsible for strengthening the financial management systems, tools and processes within a medical supply agency.

Specific areas of support will include improving internal audit and financial controls, procurement processes and financial monitoring and tracking.

In addition, applicants will be required to facilitate creation of new policies, processes and technologies to support improved financial management and performance. This project is fast-paced, dynamic and demanding.

Candidates should be able to perform under pressure and be proactive.

Key duties include:
  • Review, analyze and update financial management policies/procedures to meet international standards.
  • Strengthen financial, audit and procurement systems to meet internal and external reporting requirements.
  • Analyse finance and operations process related data and define new financial and operational metrics to generate accurate and timely financial information to support operational, policy and advocacy decisions.
  • Strengthen internal audit policies/procedures and financial controls in line with accounting and auditing principles and standards to meet accepted international standards including in the United States of America.
  • Create, maintain and archive technical documentation of the process improvement.
  • Work closely with medical supply agency counterparts and the Project Team to develop and implement a comprehensive capacity building strategy to address financial management capacity building needs within the medical supply agency.
Required qualifications include:
  • Advanced degree in accounting, Finance, business administration, or other related field is required.
  • CPA, ACCA or equivalent training required.
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience of proven track record in accounting and financial management systems in public or private institutions or donor-funded programs in Kenya.
  • Demonstrated financial management, procurement, accounting, internal auditing, and planning, capacity building and communication skills.
  • Functional expertise with the financial module of ERP systems.
  • Experience working with senior levels of government, policy makers, executives and senior managers to achieve established goals and lasting results.
  • Proven ability to mentor, motivate and work as part of a team.
  • Candidate must be proactive and be able to seek information, evaluate financial management systems, provide concise recommendations and implement solutions in a fast-paced setting.
  • Experience ¡n a preparing organisations for donor funding rules and regulations.
  • Strong experience in technical writing and communication is an added advantage.

Position: Supply Chain ERP Business Analyst

The Supply Chain ERP Business Analyst based ¡n Nairobi, Kenya will serve as a team member responsible for strengthening ERP within a medical supplies agency.


The ERP Business Analyst will support the Supply Chain Lead, and the team to successfully execute all activities related to strengthening supply chain tools, business processes and ERP capabilities.


The role will cover all Supply Chain streams such as Procurement, Inventory Management, Warehousing and Distribution; as well as integration with financial modules. This project is fast-paced, dynamic and demanding. Candidates should be able to perform under pressure and be proactive.


Key duties include:
  • Perform process and data analysis to strengthen KEMSA’s ERP and Supply Chain tools
  • Develop detailed documentation of Supply Chain processes, activities, tasks, roles & responsibilities, and requirements
  • Perform ERP/systems gap analysis
  • Support Supply Chain Lead and other supply chain advisors during engagement with stakeholders to strengthen KEMSA’s ERP
  • Develop specifications for ERP optimisation, work closely with developers for system optimisation and facilitate user acceptance testing
  • Develop training material and execute training on ERP, business processes and procedures
Required qualifications include:
  • Extensive knowledge of supply chain management, with specific subject matter expertise and experience in ERP and Supply Chain system implementations.
  • Knowledge and experience in developing process flow diagrams using tools such as Visio.
  • Development of standard operating procedures and organizational policies and tools
  • Strong experience performing highly complex data analysis related to ERP systems
  • Minimum five years experience and proven track record in ERP implementations and optimisation, preferably with health supply chains
  • Masters degree in related field is required.

Senior Program Advisor Career Opportunity - Nairobi, Kenya


Position: Senior Program Advisor

Description:

The Senior Program Advisor based ¡n Nairobi, Kenya will provide support to the Chief of Party in strategic leadership, management and technical expertise to strengthen a medical supply agency.

In addition, with the guidance of the Governance and Organizational Development Advisor, this position will support overall organizational development and the effective implementation of capacity building activities as they relate to the organization as a whole.

This project is fast-paced, dynamic and demanding. Candidates should be able to perform under pressure and be proactive.

Key duties include:
  • Assist the Chief of Party to provide oversight and technical direction to the project to assure a high quality of project interventions and adherence to the work plan and project performance monitoring plan.
  • Support the Chief of Party to supervise and manage the project’s technical advisors including subcontractors to ensure project goals are achieved.
  • Support the design, implementation, and monitoring of capacity building events and activities, including workshops, technical assistance, and material and curriculum development for medical supply agency counterparts
  • Support creation, dissemination, maintenance and archiving of technical documents of the program
  • Work closely with medical supply agency counterparts and the Project Team to develop and implement a comprehensive capacity building strategy to address institutional capacity building needs within the medical supply agency.
  • Work with the Governance and OD Advisor concurrently in order to build and execute a change management plan.
  • As directed, create organizational development tools, methods, and resources to support the capacity development effort.
Required qualifications include:
  • Minimum of ten years’ experience and proven track record working in the field of donor-funded health projects, preferably in Kenya.
  • In depth technical knowledge of at least two of the following technical areas: governance, monitoring and evaluation, capacity building, organizational development, financial management, supply chain management.
  • Demonstrated leadership and management skills with experience supervising senior staff.
  • Experience working with senior levels of government, policy makers, executives and senior managers to achieve established goals and lasting results.
  • Proven ability to mentor, motivate and work as part of a team.
  • Advanced degree in public health or related field.
  • Advanced skills in writing and communication.
