Financial Accountant
The Financial Accountant will be responsible for financial accounting, reporting and control activities of DTH and integrate them to ensure they are carried out efficiently, effectively and in line with best practice.

Group Finance:
- Reporting (e.g. management accounts)
- Treasury management
- Working capital management
- Cash flow management (including cash flow forecasting)
- Internal control (development and monitoring of policies and procedures)
Credit Control (retail and subscribers)
- Establish and maintain credit policies and procedures (for subscriber and retail debtors)
- Accounts receivable management
- Bad and doubtful debts handling and hand over for legal collection
Reporting:
- CFO report for Group board meetings
- Presentation of monthly management accounts
- Ad hoc analysis, reports and forecasts for shareholders
Banking and Funding Relationships:
- Administrative control of all bank accounts
- Monthly management of financial facilities as well as annual renewals and changes to facilities
- Regular update and review meetings with all banks
- Management of transactional banking costs
Audit
- Audit planning with external auditors
- Liaison with audit partner and manager including management of audit costs
- Audit reports and management comment letters
- Audit committee input
- Audit reports – implementation of management letter issues
Taxation and tax planning:
- Tax returns and assessments
- Group tax planning
- Tax compliance (direct and indirect taxes)
Corporate Governance:
- Risk management policy development, monitoring and action planning
- Compliance against corporate governance policies and procedures
Knowledge, skills and abilities:
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications and attributes:

- Relevant degree in business studies
- Certified public accountant (CPA-K)
- At least 5 years working experience
- Sound knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
- Experience of managing staff within the Accounts department.
- Possess Excel modeling skills.
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment
- Self driven and requires minimal supervision
