Tasks

Qualifications 
  • Minimum professional accounting qualification such as , CPA II and ANC stage 2
  • Hands on experience working with a computerized accounting system
  • Thorough understanding of Kenya Sacco laws, International Financial Reporting Standards and experience in application and enforcement of the Laws/standards at the corporate level.
  • Minimum of 3 years progressive experience preferably in a busy cooperative society.

  •     Preparing, analyzing and submitting credit reports and prudential returns as required

  •     Ensuring that all securities/collateral are recorded and well maintained

ICT Manager


We are a fast growing Savings and Credit Co-operative society offering BOSA and FOSA services to members and with several branches in central region of Kenya.

ICT Manager who will report to the General Manager.

Key Responsibilities:-
  • Provide vision and leadership in exploiting the potential of evolving Information & Communication Technologies that supports the Society’s mission and vision.

  • Advise the Sacco Management team on ICT developments and policy issues and their impact on the Sacco Operations and strategy.

  • Develop documentation, implement, test and review business continuity plan (Disaster Recovery Plan) for ensuring systems availability and business continuity.
  • Deploy, Maintain and train staff on appropriate business applications that support critical business processes.
  • Establish appropriate operational procedures, tools and resources for effective and timely delivery of technical support for all system users (at the head office and branches) to ensure productivity.
  • Undertake any other similar duties as may be required from time to time.
Minimum Qualifications: -
  • Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or related field
  • Systems Networking qualifications
  • Knowledge in Sacco operations- BOSA & FOSA operations
  • Knowledge of Bankers Realm software
