Security Officer II - Closed Circuit Television & Recording Devices
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide evidence during investigations through exhibits and video footage during disciplinary cases /hearing at the university.
  • Advising management where necessary (through the Head of Security and the Head of Section ) on a wide range of security-related events, specific to the organization and its various operations which impact on the safety of university personnel/property
  • Perform supervisory and shift duties under a Head of Section.

University Nurse

Key Responsibilities
  • Observation of vital signs and giving treatment at the triage room.
  • Man the health center reception and receive patients.
  • Maintaining medical records.
  • Observation and monitoring of patient conditions as well as maintenance of records.
  • Offering medical advice to patients.

Sales Coordinator

 
Our client, a leading importer of construction equipments representing various international manufacturers and the sole selling distributors in East Africa Region are seeking to recruit a vibrant Sales Coordinator urgently.

Job description;
  • Handling enquires / preparing quotation/introduction letters and circulars to clients / proforma invoices
  • Prepare and maintaining client database and general communication with client
  • Providing back office support to field staffs, coordination with site people and technicians for complaints, site requirements etc
  • Coordinating for machine and spares dispatches and preparing delivery notes
  • Maintain client and PO files, keeping records of active and non active cases, keeping principal offer file, keeping stock of catalogues
  • Taking attendance of office staffs/site staffs
  • Follow up with clients for offer status, payment collection, finding new client base etc
  • Preparing all monthly reports related to sales, aftersales / enquires / order bookings / collection statements / import purchases / dispatches / stocks / forecast of sales / projection reports
Qualifications
  • Diploma / Bachelors degree in sales and marketing / business related
  • Fresh graduate
  • Good communication skills
  • Languages-fluent English
  • Computer literate especially in emailing and Internet searching

Research Analyst at the United States International University

Research Analyst

Key Responsibilities
Performs programming and analysis tasks using SPSS, Excel, Access, and other software as appropriate.
  • Programs questionnaires in survey monkey and other software.
  • Collects data using a variety of methods including but not limited to field data collection,  Telephone surveys and online surveys
  • Coordinates field surveys
  • Data cleaning and preparation of code books
  • Prepares and labels SPSS data files for analysis and reporting.
  • Analyzes survey results data and any other analysis as required
  • Performs Data Mining from the data warehouse.
  • Prepares summary report for institutional data that supports institutional decision making
  • Assists with drafting and editing of project reports and methodological reports as assigned
  • Acts as Project Coordinator for research projects as assigned.
Prepares time lines for assigned projects.
  • Assists with budget preparation and budget revisions for assigned projects.
  • Maintains communication with client on survey progress.
  • Submits brief, written report on project progress each week supervisor and reports on project progress, needs, and plans at weekly project scan meeting.
  • Maintains communication with project team using e-mail and team meetings as needed.
  • Monitors expenditures to ensure that projects stay within budget.
  • Coordinates with Head of Institutional Research regarding scheduling or resource problems affecting timely completion of assigned projects and any issues affecting survey quality.
Responsible for Institutional Research Office Administration including
  • Filing of office documents
  • Raising requisitions
  • Renewal of Membership registration  and  software licenses
Allocates tasks and coordinates research assistants.

Minimum Educational Qualifications and Professional Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Statistics or related field that involves research design, implementation and analysis from an accredited university.
  • Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in institutional data analysis
  • Proven track record in programming and data analysis (qualitative and quantitative).
  • Work experience in an educational environment.
Competencies
  • Understanding of database management procedures
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of personal information and data in accordance to the university’s policy
  • Demonstrate competency in Excel, SPSS, STATA, R or any other statistical software
  • Ability to pay attention to details, prioritize projects and set and meet deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability to extract and compile data from Enterprise Resource Planning System
  • Ability to retain learned knowledge
