Job Objective: Provide first level support for customers, resolve incidents, identify problems through pro-active monitoring and manage planned engineer works. 

To be acknowledged as the customers champion ensuring high levels of satisfaction and an excellent customer experience.
 
Key Duties & Responsibilities
  • Interface with customers for service assurance and service delivery queries, achieving high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Proactively monitor alarm management systems for events, create, own and manage trouble tickets to successful resolution.
  • Supplier incident management
  • Incident management, trouble shooting and resolution of first level technical issues
  • Ensure all service tickets have correct closure data
  • Assist Service Managers as required and produce reason for outage reports
  • Assist with planned engineering works, including service impact analysis and customer notifications
  • Identify service concerns, issues, challenges and escalate to TAC and management
  • Maintain accurate records, assist with auditing and data cleansing as directed
  • Assist Service Delivery to configure & activate services / restoration as directed
  • Field operations as required (installation, patching, troubleshooting, testing, inventory)
  • Assist with creation of ad hoc reports as needed
  • Assist other departments and perform various projects as needed
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in a related field
  • Knowledge of various platforms around SDH, Data (Ethernet, IP/MPLS).
  • Effective written and verbal communications skills
  • Knowledge of at least one trouble ticket system, NetSuite desirable
  • Excellent communications and soft skills, including ability to listen to and summarize and concisely share key information with customers
  • Demonstrate ability to manage multiple priorities and solve problems in a fast paced environment

Investment Advisor

Our client a leading Fund Management Company in Kenya is looking for a dynamic, innovative and high caliber individuals to fill the position of Investment Advisor to be based in Mombasa, Nakuru, Nyeri and Meru.

This is an investments sales position. 

Reporting to the Head of Sales and operating in a highly competitive and dynamic environment, the main role of the position of Investment Advisor is to sell investment funds to prospective and existing clients and service the accounts thus created. 

 
Specifically, the Investment Advisor is expected to do the following on a retainer and a highly rewarding commission-paying remuneration structure:-
  • Sell investment products, (i.e. Unit Trust Funds, Wealth Management to prospective and existing individual and corporate clients
  • Sign-in, manage and retain clients and their accounts and maintain a strong customer service
  • Meet and exceed exciting and aggressive work targets
  • Work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment within an entrepreneurial culture that offers minimum supervision.
  • Build Rapport with Colleagues, to generate from them successful leads.
  • Carry out a detailed-fact find review of the potential clients and recommend appropriate insurance and investment products.
Qualifications, Skills and Ability Requirements
  • An undergraduate degree from a recognized university
  • An appropriate qualification/ training in sales and marketing
  • Work experience in the financial services sector e.g. bank, insurance companies, fund manager, stock brokers etc would be an advantage
  • Proven experience and success in selling financial services products: experience of selling unit trust investment products would also be an added advantage
  • A good working knowledge of financial markets and financial products
  • A high sales drive and a strong will to succeed
  • Confident, articulate and with strong communication skills
  • Results oriented with ability to work under strict deadlines and meet sales targets
  • Well groomed, presentable and strong interpersonal skills
  • Highly networked and adept at connecting with people, and with good experience of the Business environment of the preferred region.

Reporting to the Head, Human Resources, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following amongst others:
  • Championing and promoting occupational health and safety programs
  • Carrying out risk assessments and training
  • Facilitating compliance with statutory and Hospital safety requirements.
  • Promoting and disseminating good practice across the Hospital on health and safety matters.
  • Advising line managers and other persons involved in planning, organising, controlling and maintaining a safe and healthy environment for work
  • Steer the development and implementation of the Hospital’s health & safety policies and procedures.
  • Secretary to the Occupational Health and Safety Committee.
  • Ensure that the Hospital has an adequate number of trained emergency marshals.
  • Plan and oversee internal emergency preparedness programs and test the adequacy of emergency preparedness.
  • Coordinate the investigation of near misses, accidents and dangerous occurrences and develop appropriate recommendations to reduce recurrence or mitigate impact.
  • Ensure that OHS claims are lodged in a timely manner with DOHSS and insurers.
  • Maintain a system for recording, reporting and investigating injuries, accidents and dangerous occurrences in Hospital’s premises.
  • Provide statistical summaries and draw attention to significant trends and occurrences
  • Facilitate effective induction and training programs are carried out for staff on OHS matters.
  • Participate in ensuring that equipment purchased meet the safety standards

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
  • Bachelors’ degree in environment, health and safety or any other degree plus specialized professional qualifications in health and safety.
  • At least 5 years work experience in health and safety.
  • Knowledge of the health sector and implementation experience of OSHAS 18001 or similar standards is an added advantage.
  • Solid advisory skills.
  • Detail oriented and conscientious.
  • Effective organizational skills.
  • Excellent report writing skills.
