Job Description / Responsibilities:
  • Installation of clinics and facilitate their launch.
  • Scout for locations and ensure that the requirements as per checklist are adhered to
  • Manage Leases, Contracts, Letters of Intent, Purchase Orders, etc.
  • Track the progress and quality of work being performed by contractors, designers, vendors & agents
  • Prepare field inspection reports throughout the lifecycle of the project
  • Maintain Contract Execution Tracking Log, adherence to timelines
  • Ensure Licenses and other statutory documents & requirements are adhered to; apply, maintain, track & communicate progress
  • Prepare & track requirement specifications for all sites as per complexity, including utilities, compliance, licenses, branding, equipment, etc.
  • Track, maintain & communicate changes across project locations
  • Effectively and accurately communicate relevant project information to the project team
  • Ensure project needs are met in a timely and cost effective manner 
Job Profile / Requirements:
  • Must be a graduate.
  • Must have 1-2 yrs. of experience in a similar role in a hospital with chain of clinics.
  • Computer literate
  • Available immediately
  • Candidate should be street smart and able to negotiate with vendors on prices, services, etc.
  • Candidate should preferably have knowledge of locations across Kenya
  • Candidate should be solution oriented, with ability to think on his feet, to clear issues.
Starting Gross Salary:  Kes 35,000.00 - 40,000.

Unity 3D developer for Android and iOS application for remote work in Kenya

As a software developer with Emgård & Blomqvist AB, You will work with development of a mobile application for Android and iOS using Unity 3D. 

The ideal applicant is positive, open-minded, cooperative, responsive and communicative. 

Good English skills are essential. 

You are preferably located in Nairobi or Mombasa.
 
Requested competence (please make sure this is documented in your CV)
  • A few years of professional experience in developing using Unity 3D: for example 2D graphics menu programming and using plugins to access native Android and iOS code.
  • Experienced in network communication development and JSON.
  • A solid experience from Objective C and iOS, Java and Android.
  • Knowledge or some experience from Git and GPS.
  • Good UI and system specifications interpretation skills.
  • Good English skills.
Preferred competence
  • Experience in writing Unity plugins in Android and iOS.

CAP Youth Empowerment Institute Kenya, is supported by MasterCard Foundation, was established to provide Basic Employability Skills Training (BEST) for disadvantaged youth in the society with particular focus on women to get equitable, qualitative learning and access to promising labour market oriented opportunities, savings and credit that support their pathways to safe and positive futures.

The key purpose of the organization is to assist 10,000 disadvantaged youth to make informed choices, develop labour-market oriented employability skills and access job placements, savings and enterprise development support.
 
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Conduct trainings at the learning centers to equip learners with IT knowledge and skills.
  • Conduct trainings at the learning centers while taking into consideration the contexts and profiles of the learners. This may involve being flexible and adaptable to environments which may necessitate adjusting delivery styles.
  • Support learners during trainings
  • Maintain and observe quality standards in content delivery.
  • Ensure weekly work log is completed to include information on whether learning objectives were met and document the successes and challenges experienced.
  • Participate in a training of trainers and share training needs with the senior trainer and eLearning Content Developer.
  • Maintain an up to date record of students.
  • Ensure students on internship fill their logbooks.
  • Ensure students maintain highest levels of discipline at all times.
  • Collect information pertaining to trainings including seeking and compiling feedback from learners on trainings, for course improvement.
  • Document training activities through photographs for reporting purposes
  • Any other duties as may be assigned
 Skills and Qualifications
  • BA in a ICT related field
  • Knowledge and experience of computers and computer packages.
  • Knowledge of soft skills required for workplace readiness.
  • Have an understanding of eLearning techniques. Participation in an online or blended program would be an added advantage.
  • Experience in teaching/ training, experience teaching/training in underprivileged communities would be an added advantage
  • Knowledge of the Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) industry and job tracks within the industry
  • Good presentation and communication (verbal and written) skills
  • Good facilitation skills
  • Time management skills
  • Fluency in English and Kiswahili is essential
