Our client is a leading FMCG brand. We hereby invite applications from suitably qualified, dynamic, experienced and results driven candidates with proven track record to fill the position of Route Sales Representatives who will be DRIVING CANTERS and selling along prescribed routes.

Purpose of the Job:

Build business by identifying and selling products and maintaining good relationships with existing, new and prospective customers.

Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Servicing existing routes/accounts, obtaining orders and establishing new accounts in the specified territory by planning and organizing daily work schedules and route plans.
  • Ensure that the products gain the visibility and that distribution is well managed.
  • Submit orders daily and ensure proper reconciliations of accounts are done.
  • Keep Management informed by submitting activity and results reports, on daily, weekly and monthly basis.
  • Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules etc.
  • Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports and making recommendations to management.
  • Grow new areas.
  • Debt control and collection.
  • Supporting Marketing and promotion activities by the management to assist push sales.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Academic qualifications;
  • A degree in relevant field
  • A diploma in Sales and Marketing
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience selling FMCG and achieving targets,
  • Valid driving license
  • Experience in handling route sales required.
  • Ability to prioritize assigned work.
  • Must have a solid driving experience with a canter

The Constitution of Kenya (article 176 (1)) establishes a County Assembly for each County in Kenya. Further, the County Government Act establishes a County Assembly Service Board which consists of
 
1. The Speaker of the County Assembly as the chairperson;
 
2. The leader of the majority party;
 
3. The leader of the minority party; and
 
4. One person resident in the county, appointed by the county assembly from among persons who have knowledge and experience in public affairs, but who is not a member of the county assembly.
 
5. The county assembly clerk as the secretary to the county assembly service board.
 
The County Assembly Service Board has the following responsibilities: -
 
a) Providing services and facilities to ensure the efficient and effective functioning of the county assembly;
 
b) Constituting offices in the county assembly service, and appointing and supervising office holders;
 
c) Preparing annual estimates of expenditure of the county assembly service and submitting them to the county assembly for approval, and exercising budgetary control over the service;
 
d) Undertaking, singly or jointly with other relevant organisations, programmes to promote the ideals of parliamentary democracy; and
 
e) Performing other functions necessary for the well-being of the members and staff of the county assembly; or prescribed by national legislation.
 
Pursuant to the statutory requirement, the County Assembly of Laikipia wishes to invite applications from suitably qualified persons resident in the county and who have knowledge and experience in public affairs, not a member of the county assembly to be considered for the position of a Member of Laikipia County Assembly Service Board.

Pursuant to the County Government Act No.17 of 2012 section 12, the Embu County Assembly, wishes to invite applications from suitably qualified persons to be considered for the position of member of Embu County Service Board. 
The person will join a Team the County assembly service board that will comprise of the speaker as the chairperson, Leader of Majority Party, leader of minority party.

Functions
 
The Functions of the Embu County Assembly Service Board will entail;
 
(i) Constituting offices in the Embu County Assembly service
 
(ii) Providing services and facilities to ensure the efficient and effective functioning of county Assembly

Article 176 (1) of the Constitution of Kenya 2010 establishes a County Assembly for each County Government. 
To enable effective carrying out of functions of a County Assembly, the County Government Act No. 17 of 2012 has established the County Assembly Service Board which shall be responsible for the following functions:
 
a) providing services and facilities to ensure the efficient and effective functioning of the County Assembly;
 
b) constituting offices in the County Assembly Service and appointing and supervising office holders;
 
c) preparing annual estimates of expenditure of the County Assembly Service and submitting them to the County Assembly for approval and exercising budgetary control over the service;
 
d) undertaking, singly or jointly with other relevant organizations, programmes to promote the ideals of parliamentary democracy; and,
 
e) performing other functions necessary for the well-being of the member and staff of the County Assembly or prescribed by national legislation.
 
Section 12 of the Act further states that the County Assembly Service Board shall comprise the Speaker of the County Assembly as the chairperson, the Leader of the Majority Party, the Leader of the Minority Party and one person resident in the County appointed by the County Assembly from among persons who have knowledge and experience in public affairs, but who is not a member of the County Assembly.
 
Pursuant to this statutory requirement, the County Assembly of Baringo wishes to invite applications from suitably qualified person resident in the Baringo County who has knowledge and experience in public affairs, but who is not a member of the County Assembly to be considered for the position of a Member of the Baringo County Assembly Service Board.
