Electrical Technician Job in Nairobi Kenya (KShs 25K - 35K)

Our client is Total Security Solution Provider in Nairobi Kenya is looking for aggressive and creative Electrical Technician for the security solutions products.

Salary: Gross of Kshs 25,000 ~ 35,000

Job Purpose: The Electrical technician will carry out site survey, design and install security systems which include: Access Control System, CCTV, X-Ray Scanner, alarm system, Medtal detector, Auto gate and Under Vehicle Monitoring System

Key Responsibilities
  • Work in a team to support the installation of above security systems.
  • Trouble shooting and repair of the security items.
  • Carrying out site survey, technical support and new installation of new security items
  • Provide maintenance services and fault detection of security equipments.
  • Identify problems and repair or replace defective parts of the items
  • Make periodic inspections of equipment to find defects before costly breakdowns occur.
Qualifications:
  • At least Diploma in Electrical/ Electronic Engineering or related field
  • At least two years' experiences at power maintenance works.
  • Creative idea and application power required.
  • Very Strong ANALYTICAL and CREATIVITY skills
  • Team player with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Superior interpersonal skills including courtesy, professionalism, and a cooperative attitude.
  • The ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Willingness to learn and collaborate with others.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identifying sales opportunities, setting up initial sales and meeting the client
  • Assessing customers' needs and explaining the goods and services which meet their needs
  • Answering any technical questions the client might have
  • Quoting and negotiating prices and credit terms, and completing contracts and recording orders
  • Arranging delivery of goods, installation of equipment and the provision of services
  • Reporting to sales management on sales made and the marketability of ICT goods and services
  • Following up with clients to ensure satisfaction with ICT goods and services purchased, arranging modifications and resolving any problems arising
  • Preparing sales reports.
Qualifications:
  • Degree /Diploma in Information Technology and/or Sales and Marketing from a recognized institution
  • At least 4 years experience in Sales and Marketing
  • ICT Sales and marketing experience will be an added advantage.
  • Good analysis of the market and smart understanding of ICT systems.
  • Self driven & result-oriented sales power
  • Good inter-personal and self planning skills.
  • Ability to meet sales targets

Main purpose of the job: To provide efficient administrative support for the HR Manager, ensuring service users are provided with key information on HR processes and procedures.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Undertake duties supporting the recruitment and selection function including placing adverts; processing invoices; pre-employment checks; chasing references; arranging short-listing and interview packs; contacting candidates and managers; and any other associated duties.
  • Undertake duties supporting the use of HR Information System including sending out relevant contractual information; liaising with payroll to resolve queries; processing any other payments.
  • Undertake administrative duties supporting various HR processes including maternity and paternity leave and other forms of special leave; job evaluation panels; probation procedure; other terms and conditions of employment.
  • Undertake duties supporting the organization’s learning and development culture including the collation of learning needs from individuals’ appraisals and the collation of information relating to the evaluation of training.
  • Undertake administrative duties to support the HR Manager in the delivery of a health and safety culture within the organisation including the provision of statistical information; maintaining records on health and safety training undertaken.
  • Provide administrative support to the HR team including word processing; distribution of information; organizing and taking minutes at meetings for the HR Manager.
  • Making sure that all licence’s are renewed.
  • Any other duties assigned by the HR Manager.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of a Diploma  in Human resource Management
  • At least 3 years experience handling Human resource functions.
  • Must have worked in a manufacturing set up in a busy HR department.
  • Understanding of human resource reporting and record keeping requirements.
  • Well organized, accurate and attentive to detail
  • Excellent communications and public relations abilities.
  • Strong typing and computer application skills.
  • Ability to assist and support others.

  • Must demonstrate the ability to manage competing demands and be able to deal with frequent changes, delays or unexpected events
