Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist to develop web-based mapping applications using Google Maps and/or Flash
  • Assist in the maintenance of the FSNAU website
  • Assist in the update of online FSNAU databases
  • Assist in the creation of e-forms to be used for data collection in the field assessments
  • Any other work as may be assigned by the supervisor
Education and Experience:
  • Experience in developing using PHP, HTML, CSS, Javascript, JQuery
  • Experience using Adobe Flash and Photoshop
  • Experience with mapping using Google maps and other related technologies
  • Experience using database servers e.g. MySQL and PostgreSQL
  • Experience using open source content management systems e.g. Drupal, Joomla, Wordpress
  • Experience in mobile application development using the Android platform
  • Working on both Windows and Linux operating system environments
Other Desired Requirements:

Accountant

Our client in the hospitality industry urgently wants to recruit an accountant with the following experience and qualifications.

Key Objectives

To manage all accounting procedures as they relate to financial reporting and transactional accounting of the organization through application of accounting principles and to analyze accounting information and prepare financial reports as per the Accounting Standards.

Main Duties And Responsibilities Of Finance
  • Producing the monthly management accounts which includes;
  Balance Sheet,
  Profit and Loss versus Budgets,
  Cash-flow projections,
  Accounts Payables Aging reports
  Accounts Receivables Aging Reports
  Stocks taking Reports and
  Adhoc financial reports as required by management.
  • Monitoring credit levels of various account holders and ensure existence of a sound and effective credit control system.
  • Reconciling all nominal ledger accounts, creditor statements, payroll, statements of expenditure and bank accounts.
  • Managing the Purchasing functions of the Organization and maintaining good relation with suppliers,
  • Reviews accounts payables and periodical cheque runs and prepares reports for the same and determine proper handling of financial transactions and approves transactions within designated limits.
  • Compiles and analyzes financial information to prepare entries to general ledger accounts, cost centers and documents business transactions.
  • Organize regular stock taking exercise
  • Prepares financial statements and supporting schedules for the annual financial review and annual budgets.
  • Adheres to internal and external deadlines.
  • Work with both internal and external auditors during financial and operational audits.
  • Responsible for all statutory deductions, taxation and other government regulations and timely settlement.
  • Supervising the accounts staff, cost controllers and cashiers
  • Any other reasonable requests from the Management
Minimum Qualifications
  • CPA part 11
  • 5 years in similar position
