Country Manager-Kenya

Reports To: National Sales Manager
Duty Station: Kenya

Role Purpose Statement: - To sell Precision Air products and network to achieve the set sales and marketing objectives and targets within the assigned territory.

Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities
  • Develop, execute and drive the Passenger Sales and Marketing plan guaranteeing exposure of Precision Air’s product facilitating delivery of the company’s Sales targets and business objectives in the assigned territory.
  • Liaise with GSA to build and maintain sales team representation and network to ensure sustenance of profitable sales revenues and market share for Precision Air.
  • Analysis of business environment to facilitate timely response to developing market trends to maximise on opportunities that arise and minimise adverse impact on company sales.
  • Monitor competitor activities, evaluate recommend competitive strategy and pricing levels to deliver expected yield, margin and revenue targets
  • To be the principal administrator for Precision Air in the assigned territory safeguarding PW’s interests.
  • Provide input and participate in the identification and progress of new business opportunities for revenue growth (through special prorate/ interline agreements /partnerships etc).
  • Participate in PW’s passenger revenue budget process for the assigned territory.
  • Assess and propose appropriate incentive schemes to TA, Corporate travel, and Govt so as to enhance productivity, efficiency and maximisation of revenue.
  • Develop and monitor expenditure budget/actual and control costs.
  • Any other duties as May be assigned by your Supervisor
Minimum Qualifications:
  • University Graduate or 5 years airline experience sales and marketing.
  • Proficient in spoken and written English & French Languages
  • Excellent computer data analysis and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical, visionary Planning and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of airline business processes is an added advantage.

Our client, a Security firm with its Head Office in Nairobi, is looking for a Customer Service Representative. 
The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing product and service information as well as handling clients’ complaints. 
We are looking for someone with outstanding verbal and written communication skills.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Assist the Customer Care Center in compiling collaterals, preparation of Client Feedback List and Customer Care Plan.
  • Prepare product or service reports by collecting and analyzing customer information
  • Maintain customer records by updating account information
  • Contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as required
  • Log complaint into the system and ensure they are resolved in a timely and effective manner.
  • Communicate timelines for resolving complaint to the client.
  • Regular follow up with the relevant HOD’s to ensure complaints are closed in time.
  • Visit clients for customer feedback as per the Customer Satisfaction Form.
  •  Collect Client details, interests and update information.
  • Ensure all clients are visited as per the planned schedule.
  • Visit all clients wanting to terminate services and aim to maintain a retention rate of 100%.
  • Take customer feedback on the Technical maintenance/service and installation.
Skills and Competencies
  • At least 3 years Experience in customer service in a busy environment
  • A passion for Customer Service with outstanding  problem solving skills, documentation skills, quality focus, as well as information analysis skills
  • Outstanding work ethic (reliable, motivated, professional and ability to work under minimum supervision)
  • Ability to handle and resolve customer complaints promptly
  • Good report writing skills
  •  Product and market knowledge skills

Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) has been present in Somalia since early 2004 and has since expanded its Horn of Africa Programme to Kenya in 2006 and to Ethiopia in 2011. Since 2004, the Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) has demonstrated a regional competence and expertise in working with displaced populations.

NRC has mainly focused on Somalis who are displaced by the on-going conflict and more recently by the drought and famine. 
The Regional Office is based in Nairobi, Kenya with offices and operations in Somalia (Puntland, Somaliland and Mogadishu), Kenya (Dadaab, Kakuma and Molo), Ethiopia (Addis Ababa, Dolo Ado, Shire and Asosa) and Yemen (Sa’naa).
