Salary:
 
I. Our fulltime writers earn between Kshs 45,000-120,000.
 
II. Our part-time employees earn a compensation of Kshs 350 for every completed double-spaced page.
 
In this case, financial returns are directly linked to writer output.
 
We however have a policy of increasing writers’ salary with the passing of every 10 days.
 
Qualifications required:
  • Applicants MUST hold at least an undergraduate degree/diploma.
  • Acquaintance with the mainstream writing styles: MLA, Chicago/Turabian, Harvard, APA.
  • Previous and verifiable experience with research writing.
  • Unrestricted internet access.
  • Merit in the written English language. This MUST be verified either by certification, or in the sample to be submitted after initial contact (or both).
  • Verifiable credentials 2 or more academic branches of academics, e.g. Political Science, IT, Accounting, Law, etc.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • To liaise with clients, create and develop relationship.
  • To assist in the preparation of business agreements
  • Ability to devise a detailed plan and run projects in way that will realize income.
  • To ensure that accounts meet targets.
  • Run promotions and marketing activities.
  • To prepare proposals, presentation, reports as required.

Education and Qualifications
  • A minimum of diploma in sales and marketing or merchandising

Duties & Responsibilities:
The locally recruited Field Outreach Assistant is expected to provide support to the Field Outreach Coordinator for Kenya in executing the outreach strategies at the local level. 
He/she will conduct outreach activities and will assist in developing strategies and action plans relevant to various phases of the judicial proceedings, establish close contacts and partnerships with NGOs, community leaders, local media and educational institutions.
Essential Qualifications:
1. Completion of secondary education. 
2. At least six years of relevant work experience. 
3. Initiative, adaptability in stressful situations. 
4. Ability to operate databases. 
5. Demonstrated skills and ability to establish and maintain effective working relations with people in a multi-cultural and multiethnic environment. 
6. Strong communication skills (spoken and written), including ability to draft/compile a variety of written communications products and to articulate ideas in a clear, concise style. 
7. Ability to effectively communicate information to the public; ability to establish and maintain effective business connections.
Knowledge of languages:
The working languages of the Court are English and French. For this position fluency in English is essential. Knowledge of Kenyan Swahili will be considered an asset.

Assistant Professor

  • At least three (3) years teaching experience at the rank of Lecturer or five (5) years of equivalent professional experience at the University or an equivalent institution of higher learning.
  • Must have published at least four (4) papers in peer-referred journal articles and/or book chapters.
  • Evidence of supervision of undergraduate and postgraduate research projects, theses and/ or dissertations.
Associate Professor
  • Must have a PhD in in the area of application from a recognized University.
  • At least five (5) years teaching experience at or seven (7) years of equivalent professional experience at the University or an equivalent institution of higher learning.
  • Must have published at least four (4) papers in peer-referred journal articles and/or book chapters.
  • Evidence of supervision of undergraduate and postgraduate research projects, theses and / or dissertations.
