Direct report to: Factory Manager
Location: Nairobi

Main Purpose of Job:
  • Packaging Development

  • Material sourcing
Main Responsibilities:
  • Coordinates new packaging development to ensure timely delivery
  • Responsible for settling packaging standards or specification for different products.
  • Co-ordinates packaging trials to ensure efficient use of packaging material
  • Responsible for Technical designing of packaging materials, thus ensuring that the right size and Technical aspects are achieved
  • Responsible for ensuring packaging integrity Is maintained at all times
  • Participates In packaging Audits at the suppliers, distribution centre’s etc to ensure NQS are managed in totality in regard to packaging issues.
  • Following up on quality issues/complains on existing
  • Packaging materials with a view of eliminating them.
  • Carries out research on various packaging alternatives as a continuous packaging improvement process
  • Bench marking packaging materials against zone AOA, and other companies markets
  • Liaises with Supply Chain to identify suitable packaging material suppliers to satisfy the required specification
  • Co-ordinates co-packing operations to ensure cost effective and on time product supply and food safety compliant
  • Ensures that the co-packer complies with Nestle good business practices in liaison with the QA department

A medium sized firm in Nairobi is looking to hire an Office Admistrator. The job of the Office Administrator  will be to support the directors office.

The gross pay applicable is a range of K'sh 25-35K plus in and outpatient medical cover per year depending on experience and education qualifications.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum Qualification: Diploma in Office Administration/ Secretarial studies
  • The Candidate will be aged between 30-38 years
Roles and Responsibilities
  • Good at generating presentations reports in various computer languages from basic excel graphs to basic office cash book keeping.
  • At least 5 years demons ratable senior admin experience and in inclination towards project management.
  • Independent thinker , they will have helped set up or run a new office or relocate an  odd office.
  • They will be responsible for the dairy of the general manager.
  • They will be required to co-ordinate his travel and appointments as well respond his emails and telephone enquiries in a timely fashion.
  • Will be required to report to work at 7.30am and work until 4.30pm.
  • They will be required to be good in written English and Kiswahili.
