Reports to: Factory Management
Location: Nairobi

Our Client is the world's leading Multinational Company dealing in the manufacturing of confectionery and beverage consumer products
.
Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage efficient utilization of resources in his/her shift.
  • Ensure application of the company’s disciplinary & grievance procedures.
  • Apply the company’s management & leadership principles effectively.
  • Ensure adherence to safety requirements
  • Manage on the job training of employees.
  • Manage efficient and optimal use of resources i.e. machines, time & labor in line with set targets (KPIs).
  • Manage quality of products by ensuring proper parameters and checks are done online during production process
  • Manage production record keeping in line with the company’s requirements
  • Responsible for good housekeeping in production areas during his shift
  • Responsible for ensuring achievement of planned quantity
  • Responsible for overall product quality as manufactured during his/her shift
  • Manage on job training on awareness of HACCP to employees in his shift
  • Responsible for ensuring that CCPs are under control
  • Carries our new product development to improve the company’s competitiveness as directed by his superior
  • Responsible for ensuring that employee are involved in continuous improvements during his/her shift and especially that MDWT are active and operational
  • Responsible for compliance to safety and environmental regulations during his shift, and in particular to company Safety Policy.

The ideal candidate should possess the following minimum skills and competencies;
  • Degree in mechanical engineering – production option
  • Minimum 5 years experience in a similar position
  • Advance knowledge of manufacturing instructions and quality standards
  • Advanced understanding of how to effectively lead and control meeting (ability to handle meeting and conflict)
  • Advanced understanding of the related departments and their role (Quality, Engineering, Warehouse, etc…)
  • Business knowledge. Competence base of H&S, Engineering, Quality, Costing, Supply Chain.
  • Knowledge of HR policies, industrial relation and legislation
  • Knowledge of "The Company Management and Leadership principles", local community and shared value

Main Purpose of the Position
  • The role is responsible for a specific process stream – customer master data for GB, NAM and NE markets.
  • Manage relationships with internal customers is key dimension to this role.
  • Being involved in master data related projects and look for process improvements to drive service efficiency and maximise customer satisfaction is a key factor.

  • To ensure that Team members understand their obligations in this respect and to ensure that the process and culture supports this.
  • To co-ordinate responses to queries from market contacts via phone, email in a professional, courteous and timely manner to the highest customer service standards.
  • To be the first issue escalation point for the supported market for all OTC Master Data queries after team members.
  • To establish and maintain business partnership with the market contacts.
  • To come up with improvement ideas on how to make the process more efficient, and a push that through the market. to improve Right First Time market via feedback and reporting.
  • Helping the team in pre-validation of market requests.
  • Lead all running projects, ensuring right focus and support of team members
Educational Experience
  • B.com/ Accounting Degree
  • CPA(K) or ACCA
Beneficial Work Experience
  • Speaks fluent English
  • Is an experienced people manager (at least 2 years)
  • Is able to manage own time and team resources effectively
  • Builds excellent relationships with internal (DBS BUD/ACN) and in-market teams.
  • Has Data related experience
  • Committed to maintaining an excellent control environment, understanding the wider nature of CARM and control; rigorously enforcing compliance.
  • Is able to recognise areas for improvement
  • Can lead change projects, and has previous experience in project management with track record of delivery
  • Has good accounts payable/ general accounting experience of at least 4 years
  • Knowledge of SAP/ Oracle
  • Has client and team management experience

Role:
  • Compile, manage and regularly update a database of medical information.
  • Manage a database of content subscribers.
  • Customer service
  • Liaise with partner hospitals and medical practitioners.
  • Update website content.
  • Receive queries and obtain responses from doctors on behalf of clients.
  • Review and verify new content and ensure that old content is relevant and accurate.

The successful candidate must:
