Web Marketing/Donor Relations Coordinator

The Transformational Department is seeking to recruit one Web Marketing/Donor Relations Coordinator to be based in Nairobi.

Reporting to the Chief Operations Officer, the Web Marketing/Donor Relations Coordinator will be responsible for achieving the following objectives and responsibilities.
  • Interact with donors and take care of all donors’ logistical concerns.
  • Getting profiles of customers from branches and uploading on OptiNow Platform.
  • Being a critical change agent on transformational activities and projects such as Clients surveys, social performance management and financial literacy trainings for both Opportunity Kenya Staff and clients.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing/Sales/Business Administration/community development/Communication/PR or related field.
  • Good communication skills and excellent marks in Kiswahili and English writing
  • Showed leadership in school
Experience
  • Experience in microfinance industry preferred but not essential
  • 2-5 years professional experience
  • Experience interacting with people of diverse and multicultural backgrounds.
  • Excellent report writing skills, persuasive and results oriented.
  • Should possess a positive, outgoing personality with good interpersonal skills.
  • Able to communicate fluently in both English and Kiswahili and explain complicated concepts to both clients and donor audiences
  • Able to independently, initiate and operate projects with minimal supervision and deliver high quality work within tight deadlines.
  • Passionate to work with entrepreneurs in the Bottom of the pyramid working themselves out of poverty.
