Requirements:-
  • A Bachelors degree in – HR, social sciences or business related fields from a reputable and recognized university.
  • An LLB degree would be an added advantage.

  • Two years working experience in a large establishment

Duties & Responsibilities

Requirements:-
  • A minimum of 2nd upper honors degree in business related degrees, Human resources, engineering, economics, chemistry and an MBA or a Masters degree in related fields from both local and external recognized and reputable universities
  • Internationally oriented person and willing to relocate.
  • Highly motivated, enthusiastic, aggressive, and self confident
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills,
  • An Extrovert personality with good inter-personal communication skills
  • Below 30 years of age.

Catholic Diocese of Malindi - Water and Sanitation Project Engineer


Position: Water and Sanitation Project Engineer

Location: Malindi

Reports to: Deputy Director

Purpose:

The project Engineer will be responsible for providing technical skills required in the implementation of water and sanitation projects in the Catholic Diocese of Malindi.

Key Responsibilities and Tasks
  • Coordinate technical studies which include baseline surveys, evaluations, hydro- geological, geo-physical and environmental studies
  • conduct field surveys and design of water and sanitation facilities,
  • Prepare tender documents and bills of quantities
  • Supervise construction of water and sanitation facilities
  • Conduct water quality testing and monitoring
  • Coordinate community training on operation and maintenance
  • Participate in relevant stakeholders meeting including the GoK sectoral coordination meetings such as the Water and Environmental Coordination (WESCOORD), among others
  • Participate in quarterly progress review meetings
  • Compile monthly monitoring, progress and training reports.
  • Maintain network with community-based partners, donors and NGOs working in the region
Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Engineering, preferably in Water Engineering
  • A minimum of 2 years experience working on community-based water, hygiene and sanitation projects, preferably in an NGO setting.
  • Good knowledge of water and sanitation policy framework in Kenya
