Sales Manager

Reporting to the National Sales Manager, the role of the Sales Manager is to manage and direct the activities of a designated sales team responsible for maximizing sales and market share to achieve the commercial objectives of Tanzania Distilleries Limited within the area.

Job Profile
  • Through a team of Sales Representatives ensure that all retail outlets in the area get a call to a pre agreed frequency.
  • Develop and implement retail marketing programmes in conjunction with TDL marketing that deliver volume and shares in line or above targets.
  • Involvement as required in specific retail projects as required.
  • Monitor and review Sales Representatives activities on a weekly basis against reports submitted.
  • Undertake in trade accompaniment with SR to coach, train and develop.
  • Undertake in trade audits of the SR area’s as part of the sales development process.
  • Undertake monthly one — on — one reviews with AM’s for development purposes.
  • Management of budgets as assigned by National Sales Manager.
Person Profile
  • Minimum Bachelor Degree or equivalent.
  • 3-5 years experience in FMCG/Beverage market environment.
  • Computer literacy.
  • Dynamic ‘can do’ attitude, proactive and self confident.
  • High level communication skills.
Merchandiser

Reporting to the Sales Manager, ensuring TDL merchandising standards are properly adhered to and implemented. In turn, they will increase both visibility and improve volume growth as well as market share.

Job Profile
  • Ensure that merchandising is done as per TDL standards and segment.
  • Place signage and generate awareness and enthusiasm to consumers.
  • Advise how goods should be displayed to maximize customer interest and sales.
  • Plan the call as per TDL standards.
  • Promote TDL’s image and brands with Consumers.
  • Implement safety, health and environment procedures.
Person Profile
  • Minimum Diploma in Business Administration or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years merchandising experience.
  • High ability to negotiate and persuade.
  • Proactive and self confident.

The Coast Water Services Board (CWSB) is a state corporation in the Ministry of Water and Irrigation established on February 2004 under the Water Act 2002.

CWSB is one of the eight (8) Water Services Boards (WSBs) in the country.

The area of jurisdiction of CWSB covers all the six counties in coast province namely, Lamu,Tana River, Kilifi, Mombasa, Kwale and Taita Taveta The Board wishes to recruit self driven, result oriented highly motivated and qualified persons to fill the following position.

Internal Audit Assistants

2 Positions

The Internal Audit Assistants will be reporting to the Internal Audit Manager and the tasks includes but not limited to:

Key Tasks
  • Carry out daily pre-audit tests on all payments and other financial transactions before they are executed.
  • Review and preparation of routine systems & compliance audit reports for both the Board and water service providers.
  • Carry out routine systems and compliance audits for all donor funded projects.
  • Participate in development of audit techniques and procedures focused on RBIA.
  • Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements
  • Issue of audit report queries and observations to the Head of Internal Audit for review before reporting.
  • Assist in preparation of audit work plans and other programs related to internal audit.
  • Carrying out special audit assignments as directed by the Head of Internal Audit.
  • Any other assignments as may be assigned by the Head of Internal Audit.
Qualifications, experience and skills
  • At least CPA II (KASNEB) or its equivalent or Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting option) and mandatory 3 years experience in audit related assignments.
  • Excellent communication skills, reporting skills, versatile computer skills and a team player. Should also be a person of high integrity.
  • The successful candidate will be employed on permanent and pensionable terms after successful completion of probation period of six months which may be extended for not more than (3 ) months
