Qualifications/Requirements

Minimum Form IV level of Education complemented with relevant training. Previous experience may be required but it is not a prerequisite for the job.

Waiters:
Minimum Form IV level of Education. Previous experience may be required but it is not a prerequisite for the job.

Cooks/Chefs:
Minimum Standard 08 level of Education complemented with relevant training and/or experience.

Cleaners:
Minimum Standard 08 level of Education. Previous experience may have added advantage.

Security Guards:

Head – Internal IT

Key Responsibilities

  • § Develop new technologies, architectures and internal IT network systems;
  • § Manage the planning, designing, building and operating of the IT infrastructure;

  • § Oversee IT support system to ensure delivery of expected results to end users;

Requirements/ Qualifications
  • § A Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Business Information Technology or related field;
  • § Relevant Professional qualifications e.g. ITIL,ITSM,CISCO
  • § Minimum of 7 years experience in a technical Telecommunications/ Engineering/ IT management position
  • § Project Management experience and certification will be an added advantage.

Communications Officer Job Vacancy (Annual Salary and Allowances: Kshs 2,500,000 - Kshs 2,700,000)

Communications Officer

One year contract (renewable to a maximum of three years)


Location: Nairobi, Kenya

Applications are invited for a Communications Officer to source and share the best news, information and resources from Provinces in Africa, with a focus on East Africa.

This position will be principally managed by the Anglican Communion Office’s Director for Communications in co-operation with CAPA staff.

The Communications Officer will work closely with Provincial communications staff and General Secretaries to ensure that through a range of communications channels, including the Anglican Communion News Service, those inside and outside the Communion have a clearer understanding of the challenges and successes of church mission and life in that region.

The successful candidate will have:

  • A Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications or an equivalent degree;
  • Demonstrated experience as a working journalist/press officer and strong writing and precise editing skills in English;
  • A sound knowledge of Anglicanism in Africa;
  • Experience of undertaking communications work in other countries;
  • Good IT skills and understanding of Social Media;
  • Existing relationships with regional and international media
  • Good organisational skills and willing to be flexible, with the ability to work to deadlines;
  • An ability to work with minimum supervision;
