We are seeking to strengthen our Advisory Consulting services by recruiting and training highly motivated individuals for the positions of Senior Consultant and Consultant in our People and Change Division.

The job holders will play a role in our Reward Consultancy practice.

The jobholders will be responsible for the management and delivery of reward management consultancy assignments and will play a critical role in business development. They will also be required to take responsibility for project management and economics.

The successful candidates will be numerate, analytical individuals with demonstrable experience in surveys and survey methodologies, general reward management, job evaluation, job profiling and pay structuring.

The ideal candidates will have at least 5 and 2 years of relevant demonstrable experience for the Senior Consultant and Consultant positions respectively. Consultancy experience will be an added advantage.

We are looking for candidates who hold University Degrees from a recognised institution. A post graduate or relevant professional qualification in human resources is preferred but not essential.

The successful candidates will also be required to have the following demonstrable skills and competencies:

  • Analytical and numerate skills coupled with attention to detail;

  • Results driven and achievement orientated, with the ability to work under significant pressure;

Chief Executive Officer (CEO) - Kampala, Uganda

Our client, Nakasero Hospital Limited (“NHL”) opened its doors in 2009; with its main objective being the provision of quality medical care and to fill a gap which was created by the lack of adequate medical facilities in the country.

NHL is now looking to recruit a Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

Reporting to the Board of Directors, the CEO will be responsible for the provision of visionary leadership and direction and ensuring that the hospital’s mandate and policies are implemented fully and effectively, in line with the hospital’s strategic plan.

The CEO will be based in Kampala, Uganda.

Key responsibilities:
  • Overseeing the development and timely implementation of the mission, strategic and business plans as well as driving performance and innovation;

  • Overseeing timely negotiation, achievement and reporting of the performance contract objectives as well as the preparation and submission of operation plans and budgets;

  • Representing the hospital in legal matters with support from the legal function; and

The ideal candidate will have an understanding and appreciation of the culture and environment associated with managing a complex service organisation in a competitive, turbulent market-driven atmosphere, including building relationships with Health Maintenance Organisations (HMOs).

Evidence of the ability to interact, relate to, work with and support the activities of dynamic physicians, highly qualified staff and Board members is desirable.

We are looking for a candidate who holds a Master’s Degree in hospital administration or public health administration with a Bachelors Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or other related field from a recognized university.

The candidate must have at least ten years experience, five of which must be at a senior level in a large organisation. Training in Strategic Leadership and Health Systems Management (HSM), from a recognized institution, will be an added advantage.

Commodities Tracking System Officer 
Successful candidate will gather, collate, analyze, and package information for a variety of internal and external stakeholders concerning WVS’s implementation.

The incumbent will provide guidance and technical supervision to field CTS Assistants.

Major responsibilities

  • Ensure a Commodities Tracking System is in place, functional and provide monthly reports of all food and non-food aid programming following agreed reporting protocol.
  • Ensure Health Monitoring Information System (HMIS) tracking system is in place, and provides monthly reports on health interventions to all internal and external stakeholders, including the health cluster and UNICEF.
  • Collate Gift in Kind (GIK) and procurement data, analyze and package information to share with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collate, analyze and package information regarding the status of on-going projects for internal decision makers and external audiences.

Deputy Operations Coordinator

Successful candidate will assist the Operations Director to provide operational leadership and management direction needed to successfully promote child focused, relief and rehabilitative programming.

Major Responsibilities

  • With guidance from the Program Design Unit, ensure proposals are implement on-time, on target and within budget.
  • Support the integration of cross cutting themes through the establishment of systems and processes across all World Vision Somalia operational areas.
  • In collaboration with Area managers, ensure that procurement, staffing and capacity building needs of field teams are addressed by support services on a timely and effective manner.
  • Support Area and Project managers meet compliance criteria for Quality Assurance, Support Services and People and Culture.
  • Collate regional budget requirements and package for decision makers and external audiences
  • Take a lead role in the implementation of action plans meant to expand current geographic and programming scope of World Vision Somalia.
Qualifications
