Operations Manager - Tanzania

Real People is a growing Multinational Company in Africa dealing with Micro Enterprise Finance.

In East Africa we are specializing in offering Business Finance solutions through lending to Micro Enterprises, Working Capital and Fixed Asset Loans.

Main Purpose of the Job:

  • Managing the profitability and operational efficiency of a Branch operation by achieving and exceeding production targets on a regular basis.
  • To manage the client and production portfolio of a Branch to ensure quality business with collections rates achieving or exceeding targets set.
  • Ensuring the establishment of a ‘client service’ culture in the Branch.
  • Ensuring that all standard operating procedures are adhered to in the Branch.
Reports To: General Manager

Minimum Education Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in a related field

Minimum Required Experience: 3 Years Managerial Experience in a financial institution preferably a Micro Finance setting.

Smart Phone Software Developers



Our client an International company, based in Ukraine is looking for highly motivated software developers. Qualified candidates should have had prior knowledge in mobile application development i.e smart-phones. The preferred candidate should be willing to relocate to Ukraine for a period of 1-2 years, in 2 months time.

Duties and requirements

  • - Design, Implement and unit test Software Requirements with zero defects.

  • - Set the right customer expectations and continually exceed them.

  • - Review codes, design features, develop and conduct unit tests.

  • - Provide technical assistance to other team members as needed.

  • - Develop prototypes on a variety of platforms.

  • - Create, document, and implement unit test plans, scripts, and test harnesses.

  • - Interpret written business requirements and technical specification documents.

  • - Deliver high quality applications for Smart phones.

  • - Interacts with the test team on a regular basis to identify and address issues in a timely manner.


Qualification

  • - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent discipline.

  • - Minimum of 3-6 years experience in .Net framework, Java\C++ development.

  • - Good knowledge in Object oriented programming is a must.

  • - Clear understanding of software development life cycle principles.

  • - Should be familiar with modern software development practices.

  • - Should be familiar with various software development design pattern.

  • - Must have clear knowledge of IPhone Os and Android.

  • - Should have worked with cross-platform development tools e,g PhoneGap

  • - Expert level experience in J2ME.

  • - Must have deployed applications in App Store B – Android

  • - The ideal candidate will have developed business related application which talk to server via a web APIS such as WSFU using XML/SOAP/JSON.

  • - At least 2 years of experience developing on at least 2 of the following platform: iPhone / iPad, Android, Windows Mobile is a plus.

  • - Ability to work within a team and under own responsibility

  • - Ability to pay strong attention to detail and quality.

  • - Should have strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Job Purpose:
  • To lead the Partner & process governance function in order to ensure smooth migration & seamless operations post Managed services introduction. 
  • Successful candidate will work with partners to draft the best in class Preventive, Reactive & Escalation processes for enabling Operational silence as well as recommend the scope of work for managed services partners for effective use of resources & to avoid grey areas.

Job Profile

Remuneration and Terms of Employment
