The need is for an Independent Associate HR Director for a medium sized regional consulting firm has arisen.
The consultancy is nine (9) years old and has recognizable profile in the region.
The consultancy
specializes in: Institutional Development; Capacity Building; Management
Skills Development; Development Research; Business Advisory Services;
and Trade Development.

The Independent Associate
HR Director will work to satisfy self-set goals in line with the
consulting firm’s strategic objectives.
The firm has five
Independent Directors who work on a similar writ. Progression to
Director’s position is dependent on performance and commitment to the
mission of the consultancy.
Duties and Responsibilities
The Independent Associate HR Director will be responsible for;
- Implementing the consultancy’s human resource development strategy,
- Identifying new business opportunities;
- Negotiating and closing business deals; and
- Anchoring the HR function, including mentoring HR professionals.
Key Qualifications:
- An independent and successful operator who wants to associate with like-minded consultants while retaining his independence.
- A Master’s degree with several years of HR or consulting experience.
- Strong proposal development, writing, and presentation skills.
- Capacity to work with and lead multidisciplinary teams in a mature self-directed environment.
