Country Director – Kenya (Re-advertisement)
Reporting to: Head of Programs at Adeso HQ, Nairobi, Kenya
Working with: Program Managers, REGAL-IR Chief of Party and Field Offices in Kenya, Nairobi Program Team
Duty station: Nairobi, Kenya
Duration : 2 years (renewable)
Salary grade: Scale B; starting salary $62,400-$68,796 per year (NET) plus other competitive benefits.

Position Summary
The Country Director will have overall leadership and management responsibility for Adeso’s programs throughout Kenya.
S/he will play a critical
role in the development and implementation of strategies necessary to
further develop Adeso’s portfolio in the country as the implementer of
choice for donors and government.
The Country Director will be a Senior Member of Adeso’s structure, with overall responsibility for the country program and capabilities with significant expected growth.
This position requires
the demonstrated ability to grow the program, line manage the projects,
maintain existing donor relationships and develop new programming
areas/projects.
Operations Manager
Reporting to: Chief Finance Officer/Chief Operating Officer
Working with: Head of Programs, Security, Finance, ICT, Human Resources, Compliance and
Logistics Staff in HQ
Duty station: Nairobi, Kenya
Duration: 2 years (renewable)
Salary grade: Scale C; starting salary $48,000-$70,920 per year (NET) plus other competitive benefits.
Position Summary
Under the supervision of the CFO/COO, the Operations Manager (OM) will oversee the Logistics, Security and ICT departments in Nairobi.
The main role of the OM
is to ensure smooth functioning of the organization operations,
consistent and high quality service delivery to programs/projects and
constant evaluation and readjustment of policies and procedures to take
into account changes within the operating environment.
