Seller Marketing Manager
  • Research consumer demand and explore ways to increase it.
  • Assist with the development and writing of marketing materials, such as plans, recommendations and presentations
  • Analyse current and past marketing data to help determine Business Unit (BU) marketing strategy.
  • Ensure marketing ideas coincide with the company's brand and mission statement.
  • Determine how a product or service is marketed and where; finding the right media helps reach the intended audience and remain within budgeting constraints
  • Works with product and brand managers to determine how to best reach an intended demographic
  • Helps develop marketing campaign content, such as web advertisements, TV and radio commercials, billboards and other types of content
Ads Specialist
  • Manage the set-up, analysis, and optimization of online ad campaigns
  • Daily management of bids, spend and resulting performance to ensure accomplishment of performance goals in alignment with stated objectives
  • Ongoing account optimization: structure improvements, targeting improvements (geo, demographic, day-parting, keyword and URL), frequency caps, search query mining, keyword expansion, advanced use of negative keywords, and improvement of bid management processes and algorithms
  • Maintain a dashboard for reporting and ongoing analysis and meet ongoing reporting requirements to keep the team informed on performance, optimization, and overall results
  • Work closely with external partners and vendors including Google and Yahoo-Bing to maintain support and keep up to date on new features and product capabilities
  • Develop and communicate ideas for improving strategies, practices and approaches, and ensure the successful implementation of those ideas.

Marketing and Business Development Manager

We are seeking to recruit Marketing and Business Development Manager

The ideal candidate must have at least 5 years’ experience working in a busy PR and Advertising agency, PR office or media house, and must have active interaction with the media.

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Oversee and supervise all business development activities by offering technical advice and proactively leading the exercises internally and externally, organizing travel logistics and supporting administrative needs of participants.
  • Oversees and participate in establishment of business objectives, developing budgets, and providing summaries of company marketing program performance
  • Design and create marketing strategies and programs to with a bid to create awareness and subsequent increase of sales revenue.
  • Oversee all the tendering processes of the company and ensure that the process is of impeccable integrity, flawless, compliant to relevant laws and cost effective.
  • Manages all PR requests, business relationships and develop strategies in maintain the existing business accounts so that they remain health all year long
  • Set targets for the sales team under SMART guidelines
  • Manages all aspects of seasonal campaigns for successful implementation. Includes, but not limited to, Advertising, Outdoor, Direct Mail, SMS/ Email Messaging, Website management, PR and Events.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of marketing programs (ROI & measurements) and recommend opportunities for the future improvements
Qualifications and Experience
  • Must have a bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or equivalent from a recognized university:
  • Post graduate in PR or Corporate Communications is an added advantage.
  • An MBA in marketing and strategic Management is an added advantage
  • Must have a minimum of 3 years’ relevant work experience at senior management level;
  • Vast experience in a PR agency is an added advantage.
  • Excellent Business Communication Skills
  • Awareness of procurement regulations in Kenya

Our client is a social enterprise in agriculture that provides training and business support to farmers, pastoralists and agribusinesses in Africa. 

Their aim is enhance capacity building in food production. 

 
They seek to hire an Operations Manager who will be responsible for leading and managing a comprehensive array of programs. 

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the MD in planning, organizing, and implementing public and private fund-raising initiatives
  • Implement and lead a continuous quality improvement process throughout the program and service areas, focusing on systems/process improvement.
  • Promote regular and ongoing opportunities for all staff to give feedback on program operations.
  • Lead a high performing team of program/project managers to the next level by further developing and implementing recruitment, training, and retention strategies.
  • Responsible for all activities pertaining to licensing, personnel, finance, and contracts as well as ensuring that the organization’s programs are in compliance with all County and National regulations, Donor’s and Partners’ requirements
  • Partner with the MD to represent the organization with external constituency groups, including community, governmental, and private organizations.
  • Ensure that all program activities operate consistently and ethically within the mission and values of the organization
  • Prepare and submit an annual operational budget to the MD and Finance Manager for review and approval, manage effectively within this budget, and report accurately on progress made and challenges encountered.
  • Ensure the continued financial viability of the organization’s program/service units through sound fiscal management.
